Dental specialists complete two to six extra years of training after dental school and usually work on referral from a general dentist, although most accept patients who call directly. Orthodontists straighten teeth with braces and clear aligners; endodontists handle root canals; periodontists treat gum disease and place implants; oral and maxillofacial surgeons extract wisdom teeth, place implants and do jaw surgery, often under IV sedation; prosthodontists rebuild smiles with crowns, bridges and dentures; denture centers focus on full and partial dentures, relines and repairs. Sedation and hospital dentists serve anxious patients and people with special needs, while TMJ and sleep-apnea dentists make oral appliances for jaw pain and snoring.

Palm Beach Gardens is in Florida, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Palm Beach Gardens follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Had to get an emergency root canal completed, they were able to bring me in on the same day and get it done, not only that, but they stayed a little late on a long weekend friday to get it done. The staff was excellent. I want to thank the team there, especially Nancy, she was awesome and a true asset to the office.

I wish I could give Dr. Obando more than 5 stars! Iβve met with him twice for X-rays and today I had a root canal. He is one of those people you canβt not like. He is so thorough in explaining exactly whatβs going on, gives you treatment options, is not pushy in any way, and answers a billion questions with a smile on his face! Iβve never felt rushed; in fact, I felt like I was his only patient. The root canal was completely pain free which I was legitimately afraid it wouldnβt be. Dr. Obando is so very competent, meticulous, and passionate about what he does. His office staff is wonderful and his assistant, Ripley, really made me feel at ease. If you need a root canal or are looking for an endodontist , I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Obando!

About 2 weeks ago, my dentist referred me to Palm Beach Endodontics, and specifically Dr. Ricardo Obando. I have extreme dental anxiety and seeing new providers is daunting. From the moment I walked in to the Palm Beach Gardens office, I was greeted with kind, compassionate and happy smiles from the staff. Dr. Obando is one of the most empathetic and patient doctors I've met. His nurses and assistants are the kindest and most comforting. His work is gentle and caring and I want to say thank you to Dr. Obando, Nancy, Kelsey, Evelyn and the entire staff at Palm Beach Endodontics.

I was referred to Palm Beach Endo for a root canal by my dentist and they were absolutely incredible. I was so nervous because it was my first root canal, but Dr. Obando and team clearly explained the procedure to me, were able to treat me quickly, and confidently made educated adjustments specific to my case. They kept me well-informed about what to expect before, during, and following the procedure and it was a huge relief for my dental anxiety. The office is very clean, open, and warm and everyone treated me with kindness from the moment I walked in.
